The “Iuliu Haţieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca, an institution with a rich tradition and history of over 100 years of academic excellence, stands out as a top medical university, recognized at European level for its diversity, exceptional standards of education and research, as well as for the performance of the medical act within university clinics. The university has 4 faculties – Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing, and Health Sciences, which offer 17 specializations in the medical and pharmaceutical field, and some of them are offered in English and French. The diplomas awarded by the “Iuliu Haţieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy are automatically recognized throughout the European Union and by the Israeli state. Today, the “Iuliu Haţieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy has over 9,000 students, of which more than 3,300 come from all over the world.
Scientific research in the field of medicine and pharmacy is a fundamental pillar of the mission of the “Iuliu Haţieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy and a true field of excellence. The Alliance supports students through access to shared resources, international mobility, joint research projects, interconnected digital campuses and joint degrees.
